LETTER TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE DEPRESSION

PT 193 TAMAN DESA WANGI,

KELANTAN.

7 AUGUST 2011

Dear friends,
Hello, how are you? I am pretty good here. I hope you are always in a pink of health and happy as well as your beloved family.

I am so sorry to hear that life is getting you down at the moment. Goodness knows, it can be so tough when nothing seems to fit and little seems to be fulfilling. I am here to share with you about some ways to overcome depression but I am not so sure if there is any specific advice I can give that will help bring life back its savour. Although they mean well, it is sometimes quite galling to be reminded how much people love you when you do not love yourself that much.

One simple way to simply overcome depression is to get involved with different activities and new hobbies. It will give you something to do besides focusing on everything you feel is wrong with your life. It will also give you something to discuss with others so you will perform better in social situations and possibly make new friends. In addition, you should focus on a variety of activities. You should find things that you find relaxing such as meditation or yoga.
Depression often causes people to be too afraid of failing to try new things. So, you must overcome that and do things that may not be very familiar to them. Besides that, you should also try to avoid negative thinking and focus on the good things in life instead of the bad. Often, it is too easy to get caught up in what is wrong and people forget to appreciate the good. Negative emotions will cause you  to stop trying and instead of getting out of the situation that is upsetting you, you only make it worse with your negative self talk.
However, never underestimate the effectiveness of talk therapy. Individuals living with major depression often rely on prescription medications to improve their condition. But if you are trying to deal with depression naturally, skip medications and consider speaking with a mental health professional. Regardless of whether you are battling moderate or severe depression, these trained experts will diagnose your condition and recommend a reliable treatment plan. Overcoming depression naturally often involves recognizing situations that trigger sadness, altering your mindset and developing a support system. By means of therapy, you'll learn how to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts and how to deal with problems.
Instead of dwelling on problems, you should work on fixing them. Some situations are not as bad as you may seem to someone who is already upset. Picking one problem at a time to fix will make things begin to seem better. There are many solutions to be found online and family and friends will also lend a helpful hand if asked. In the other hand, having a close network of friends gives you connections to reach out to in times of trouble. Friends will help you feel more connected and less isolated and alone, which can also help with your feelings of depression.
Furthermore, you should try to notice when depression occurs, what seems to cause it and the times of day you feel most depressed. You should also keep track of when they feel happy and what activities you feel enjoyment from. By also journaling happy experiences, positive traits about yourself, and uplifting quotes, you will be learning how to focus on the positive. Relaxation, meditation, and exercise are other good ways to combat depression.
Last but not least, you should stimulate your mind and body by doing a regular exercise routine such as walking, jogging, cycling, biking and etc. Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise a day to lower anxiety levels and stop depression. You also can take vitamin supplements and you can purchase these supplements from local health-food stores or pharmacies. Like antidepressants, supplements and herbs encourage the production of brain chemicals such as serotonin, which balance moods and reduce depression. Speak with a doctor or pharmacist prior to taking a supplement for a mood disorder.
I think that’s enough for now. I am sorry but I have to finish. I really hope to hear back from you when you get a chance. Take care!
Sincerely,
syafikah

TRUCK ACCIDENT LAWYER

One of the fears that all drivers constantly have is getting into an accident. It is even greater when contemplating a situation where you are in an accident with a truck. When you then look at the statistics of truck accidents, it causes even greater concern as we have over 500,000 accidents involving trucks each year including semi truck accidents. With that, the reality sets in that we need to prepare ourselves for that unfortunate occasion where we might be one of those half a million cases. This preparation requires you have information that is relevant to this situation.
The first thing to do once you or a loved one is in an accident is to call up your truck accident lawyer and inform them of the situation giving as much detail as possible. This information will help your lawyer as they advice you on what to do. For those who do not already have one engaged, you will need to contract the services of one as soon as you can. Make sure to get someone who has a good reputation and reasonable fees. A good lawyer will make sure that you are properly compensated for damage to your car, loss of income, expenses incurred and all other costs resulting from the accident.
Trucks being more powerful and heavier than regular cars can cause some very serious damage when in an accident. Those in smaller vehicles are also likely to suffer severe injuries as compared to accidents involving smaller car. It will therefore be in your best interest to be careful while driving but should you find yourself or someone else in an accident with a truck, it will help you in understanding the situation.
When your lawyer begins the process of seeking compensation following an accident you will want to know what is considered in determining a fair amount. Some of the very important issues looked at are the extent of injury and the time those injuries have kept you off work. Your hospital bills as well as other medical related costs will also come into play. The damage on your car and other property destroyed in the accident will all be considered.

INTRODUCTION:

An accident is a specific, unpredictable, unusual and unintended external action which occurs in a particular time and place, with no apparent and deliberate cause but with marked effects. It implies a generally negative outcome which may have been avoided or prevented had circumstances leading up to the accident been recognized, and acted upon, prior to its occurrence.
Experts in the field of injury prevention avoid use of the term 'accident' to describe events that cause injury in an attempt to highlight the predictable and preventable nature of most injuries. Such incidents are viewed from the perspective of epidemiology - predictable and preventable. Preferred words are more descriptive of the event itself, rather than of its unintended nature..

PETER PAN SYNDROME

The story of Peter Pan fascinated me as early as five years old, way before I knew what it was like to feel like an adult. I still keep an image in my mind of a particular moment in the play, when Peter Pan flew into the children’s window while they were sleeping and brought them off to Never land. I think that scene delighted me because I, like other kids, had fears associated with sleeping - probably some combination of darkness, robbers, and dying. The act of sleeping itself is such a mystery to me even now that I can understand why my young mind would see it as fertile ground for something mystical and unknown to happen.
The very idea that one could be saved from the creepiness of sleep, from the powerless grasp of unconsciousness, was not only plausible, it was too wonderful not to believe. In that protected, naive state that characterizes children, I hazily imagined the eternal playground where Peter Pan lived, with its lush flora, children swinging on vines, parties, dancing, laughter, and complete removal from that other dimension known as everyday life.
That picture in my mind is still there. It has been weathered by the army of adults who have politely tried to tear it up with their rules and reminders about “the real world,” but the stubborn five year-old inside of me has resisted. In truth, I don’t believe that we are damned to honest Christian work ethics and middle class toil. I believe that I could be walking through the streets of New York City, turn a corner, and enter a jungle with raging rivers, sparkling waterfalls, and fairies swooping through the sky.
I am in love with childhood and with Never land. I only wish I could find a way to bring back the vividness of that magical place that I knew best when I was five. If I could re-build Never land exactly as I remember it, I would - anything to reclaim the hope of living forever as a child.
This is Peter Pan Syndrome. Those who don’t have it are missing something vital. After all, as Peter Pan said, “Fairies only exist if you believe in them.”

 INTRODUCTION:
Peter Pan Syndrome is not a recognized condition by the World Health Organization. However, the symptoms and the way it affects the person who has it are very real. According to Dictionary.com, Peter Pan Syndrome or PPS is "a condition characterized by immature or childish behavior; refusal to grow up." There are several contributing factors that can be attributed to a PPS victim. Anxiety, loneliness, sex-role conflicts, narcissism and chauvinism are the basic factors that could lead to PPS. All of these put together create a troubled person who will most likely have social problems for a majority of his lives.
WHY I CHOOSE THIS ARTICLE:

I choose this article because, when I saw the title I said what is this???? But I know exactly what you mean by not wanting to grow up. at least not yet.! The first time I even remember Peter must have been when I was either 6 or 7 at least thats what I remember. I’m the youngest of 3 and a lot of times when I was younger and still sometimes now, I am refereed to as the ‘baby’ of the family and my adult part says Not Anymore!! but my child part just giggles and nods her head yeah! In my eyes Never land is THE FINAL FRONTIER and its literally the ONLY place that I would what to go to when I die, just to feel the carelessness of being 6 again. Not having to worry about anything, not even if you said something wrong or goofy, and to just play for the rest of eternity.

SYNOPSIS:

Peter Pan is a character created by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie (1860–1937). A mischievous boy who can fly and magically refuses to grow up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Never land as the leader of his gang the Lost Boys, interacting with mermaids, Indians, fairies, pirates, and (from time to time) meeting ordinary children from the world outside. In addition to two distinct works by Barrie, the character has been featured in a variety of media and merchandise, both adapting and expanding on Barrie's works.
OPINION:
I think everyone can identify with wanting to return to childhood, but I'm not sure if that's because it was such a magical place.
In my opinion, I believe memory kind of sugar-coats the actual events. If i think about events that happened only one year ago, i can see them acted out by a carefree and happy person, but i know that that not true. it is recent enough memories that i can remember my mental states at the time, and i know that i worried, despaired and was irritated a lot more of the time than what my memory allows me to think i did.
I believe why we would want to return to childhood is mainly because we were far more free of responsibility, things were given to us for free and we did not have to toil for our free time.
i do believe that everyone needs to keep some part of ones child with them no matter how old you get, but what is this thing? is it your creativity, your curiosity, your imagination? or maybe its the way in which you use these things?

CONCLUSION:
Peter Pan Syndrome is a confounding phenomenon where one symptom such as anxiety leads to another and the problems associated with it escalade until adulthood. It is only with therapy that brings the monster of PPS into light for the victim, he must acknowledge his past and how he got to where he is if he is ever to set himself straight. For the victim he cannot simply just shut off his symptoms and be normal atlas, there is long road of self realization to become the man he truly wants to be.

GLEE2 DRAMA REVIEW

The one-hour series follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the school's Glee Club and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of them all: Nationals.

McKinley High School's Glee Club used to be at the top of the show choir world, but years later, a series of scandals have turned it into a haven for misfits and social outcasts. Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison, Broadway's "Hairspray") has offered to take on the Herculean task of restoring the Glee Club to its former glory.

Even with the help of fellow teacher Emma Pillsburry (Jayma Mays, "Ugly Betty"), it won't be easy since the "brightest stars" of the pitch-imperfect club include Kurt (Chris Colfer), a nerdy soprano with a flair for the dramatic; Mercedes (Amber Riley), a dynamic diva-in-training who refuses to sing back up; Arty (Kevin McHale, "True Blood"), a geeky guitarist who attracts more bullies than girls; and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz, "Spring Awakening"), an awkward girl who needs to suppress her stutter before her center stage solo.
Will's only hope lies with two true talents: Rachel (Lea Michele, "Spring Awakening"), a perfectionist firecracker who is convinced show choir is her ticket to stardom; and Finn (Cory Monteith, "Kyle XY"), the popular high school quarterback with movie star looks and a Motown voice who must protect his cool reputation with his holier-than-thou girlfriend, Quinn (Dianna Agron), and his arrogant teammate, Puck (Mark Salling).

Will is determined to do whatever it takes to make Glee great again, even though everyone around him thinks he's nuts. He's out to prove them all wrong-from his tough-as-nails wife Terri (JessalynGilsig, "Nip/Tuck") to McKinley's cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch, "Best In Show," "Role Models") to an ber-hip world that thinks jazz hands and sequined tuxedos litter the road to infamy rather than pave the way to Hollywood dreams.

IN MY OPINION:
I enjoyed when I watched this movies.... I feel so excited when they are dancing.. fantastic.....I like when they performed "Jump" on all the mattresses because it looked like a lot of fun and I am a big van Halen fan. What I want to sing? Uh, I don’t know, I'm really not such a great singer...Favorite person is Emma, because she's weird but loveable and the things she do really crack me up.I don't really like Quinn, because she’s a big jerk to finn and I don't really like her voice.Favorite couple probably Artie and Tina because we only saw a little bit of their relationship and It would be interesting to see where it goes :) also because Artie is one of my favourite caracters.I would LOVE to see ZooeyDeschanel guest star because she's such an interesting person a actor. Also, she's a pretty decent singer.I like the pilot episode the best beacause it was funny to see everyone in the beginning and being introduced, and I think it was just the best quallity episode of everything released so far. There was a big variety of music, and the cast's AMAZING performance of "Don't stop believing" at the end was phenomenal.I am definitely ready for Glee in april; I've been waiting too long and need it right now! i'm just more than ready, believe me.....=)
